RUFFCUE is a Not-for-Profit animal care service incorporated in Ontario whose purpose is to assist in the maintaining of a healthy state of welfare and promotion of superior living conditions for animals in need as well as stray, abandoned, abused, or surrendered animals by:
• Operating an animal care service.
• Staffing a website with email address, social media contacts, and telephone contact to take reports of stray or injured animals.
• Liaising with veterinarians to provide medical care to any animals in the program.
• Offering grooming options.
• Working with the community promoting the responsible ownership steps of spaying and neutering, as well as identification and registration, of domestic pets.
• Managing long term placement and re-homing options.
