The vet believes Minuet to be a Shar Pei mix pup, she may also have some boxer in her, she definitely a very original looking girl. Minuet has lots of pep and spunk and loves to wrestle and play. She appreciates her chewables and munchies, and is always down for a stroll around the block. Minuet had a rough start, but came into the rescue and has fared well for her time here. Minuet will likely finish out as a larger dog. She is very solidly built even as a pup, and will appreciate a home where her owner has previous big dog experience. She is well socialized, and in her time here has discovered that power structures in the pack vary, and change. Minuet has no desire to be boss dog, but she’s fully down for being support staff to top dog. She’s sweet, and well mannered. She’s not nippy and is doing well with taking treats nicely, and being patient while her bowls are filled. Minuet would be great with kids and other pets, will adore camp and lake time, and is eager to learn any tricks you’re willing to teach her.
