Miss Opal DOB Oct 17 2024
20 KG at her vet appointment April 17th
First vetting completed for all the girls, Opal among them.
When she arrived (April 4th) Opal had huge resource guarding issues, and thought everything should be hers. In her short time here however she's doing pretty good now with "there is lots - share please".
Opal will be a fabulous dog when she gets a bit more confidence and grows into the fully happy bouncy girl she's showing us she is capable of being.
She's not a very big girl, she is rather solid though for her demure size.
She has a gorgeous GSD style, sable color to her and the sweetest smile.
Opal and her sisters on site are a blessing brought to town from Manitou Mounds.
These guys would of had a terribly rough spring but they're here and safe, and able to be worked with, sorted, and turned into the best pets in the area.
Opal has proven to be intelligent, motivated to please the people, not inclined to be in trouble, and much prefers the humans to be wanting to teach her and happy with her.
Opal is having fun learning "catch" and is progressing nicely with her lead work.
She loves outside and will no doubt make a wonderful companion to an active lifestyle human being. If you bike, run, hike, camp, cabin, fish, explore logging roads, and are looking for your trusty companion - Please do consider Opal as an option.
She would love to meet and sniff test you and is hoping she catches someone's interest soon.
Opal is available for your consideration, and walking pleasure. Drop a note and arrange for your sniff test, and visit today.
