Are you unable to adopt or commit to fostering but would still like to help a homeless pet? If so, sponsoring a dog is a way for you to do that. When you sponsor a dog, you are directly aiding in the rescue of a specific pet, usually one that is at risk in a pound or shelter. Sponsoring a dog is also a very nice way to honour a beloved pet that has passed or, a dog-loving friend.
To sponsor a dog we ask a $100.00 donation. Your sponsorship cannot cover all of the costs of rescuing a dog, but it helps, and will go towards such things as pulls fees, transport costs, veterinary care or for general maintenance of the dog while in our care.
You will receive a picture of the specific dog your sponsorship was used to rescue, with a brief description of the pet. As well, when the dog comes available for adoption, your name, or the name of someone you have honoured, will appear on the dog’s posting, as their sponsor.
