 Ziigwan: ADOPTED   07-May-2023

Had enough of the world and looking to "get yourself a calming cuddle?" Is your house in need of some paw prints and stray floofs? Are you ready to play?
Meet the sweetest poofiest ball of floof on four paws you'll find, we call him Ziigwan, or Ziig, or Ziggy ... Zig is Misty's kiddo, and a full blood miracle pup. His DNA came back to us showing he is a 4 way split: 58% Alaskan Malamute, 19% Bernese Mountain dog, 12% Siberian Husky, 11% Border Collie. Born March 1st by emergency C-Section, healthy, happy, and full of joy; Ziig is now 8 weeks old, 20 lbs, and ready to go. He will likely mature as a big fluffy dog at well over 100 lbs.

Ziigwan is the kindest heart, oldest soul, and gentlest heart of the group, he is very attentive, and very sensitive. Ziig is often found avoiding his rowdier siblings, curled up in a corner killing a pizzle, watching the crazies, and being chill. Ziig should become a very unique looking adult with his bi-coloured eyes, custom coat, and one of a kind tail. Temperament-wise Ziig should fare well in homes with humans, we don't think he will be inclined to harass the murder mittens, or try to smother the small humans. He seems to be mostly Bernese in personality, and as the quiet kid, is the puppy who needs kind hands, and people who will talk to him, rather than force him. Ziggy is great with "go to bed" and has no issues with his crate. He loves his outside time, and going for walks is definitely a highlight of his day.

We are absolutely certain Zig is going to be a very very big boy as he never had a "puppy bark" - the moment this boy found his voice he sounded like a 100 pound dog. So we're fairly certain he's going to grow into that voice box, and his skin which currently seems to be about 4 sizes too big for his body. He is a poofy, cuddy smoosh bunny who loves his people, his treats, his toys, and his walks.

Ziigwan is a medium energy pup, and has the potential to mature into a full energy, medium energy or low energy dog as suits. He is inclined to play with his siblings but shows no great interest in smaller animals. He is quiet, well mannered, well behaved and an absolute joy to house. As with all puppies he is quick to learn and is doing well, but will require continued reinforcement of good habits, from doing his business outside to wait, sit, back off, ok go, etc. He is however well begun and on his way to making someone the most amazing buddy.

The pups all fare well in vehicles and enjoy car rides, know stairs, understand doors, come when whistled at, or called, understand sit and down, are crate trained, and come to you as well adjusted, pet ready, fur kids.

If you are interested in checking Ziigwan out, and can fill out the adoption form on the website that'd be fabulous. He'd be thrilled to meet you, and check out your snuggle level.

We appreciate all interest, and the time it takes for people to fill out the form; Ziigwan will mature into a very large dog, he does not appear to have an interest in smaller animals, and he actually does respect your space. He and his siblings are well built, healthy, and ready to go. He (like his siblings) comes with his 1st set of shots done, de-worming sorted, and his "travel kit." Quiet, calm, well behaved and born an "old soul" Ziigwan is sure to bring joy to your home. He looks forward to meeting his furever family, and snuggling with you soon. Ziigwan would be fine with smaller children, on a farm , or in a home with cats. His adoption fee is $500.
